South Korea revives railway project without North Korean deal

South Korea said on August 5 that it would restart work on its section of the Gyeongwon Line, a project suspended in 2016. South Korea set a 2027 construction restart and a 2029 completion target, but no cross-border service has been agreed with North Korea.
