Barcelona is in the 2027 plan without a timetable
On August 1, 2026, STARLUX called Barcelona its second European destination and said ticket sales would open soon. The release did not provide a launch date, operating days, flight numbers, aircraft or fares.
STARLUX's current Barcelona sales page describes bookable journeys as STARLUX–Etihad Airways codeshare connections through Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. A displayed Taipei–Barcelona fare is therefore evidence of a connecting itinerary, not confirmation that the planned STARLUX nonstop is on sale.

Prague shows what a confirmed launch contains
STARLUX published flight numbers JX101 and JX102 for Taipei–Prague on February 25, 2026, more than five months before the August 1 launch. Its timetable set three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays through September 30, followed by four weekly flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from October 1 through October 24.
Prague Airport in the Czech Republic confirmed that the service began on August 1, 2026, and said STARLUX would use an Airbus A350-900 initially, replacing it with an A350-1000 from September 1. The airport also confirmed the initial three-flight frequency and the planned increase to four in October.
EVA Air has published Delhi flights and opened sales
EVA Air says flights BR367 and BR368 will start between Taipei and Delhi on December 1, 2026, operate five times a week with Airbus A330-300 aircraft and are open for booking through its website and travel agencies. The airline's release says actual flight times remain subject to later announcements on its website.
The EVA Air release identifies the operating carrier, flight numbers, launch date, aircraft, frequency and sales channels. Those are the booking details that STARLUX has not yet published for its planned Barcelona nonstop.
Booking pages require a segment-level check
A destination announcement records an airline's intent, but it does not create a usable direct schedule. A confirmed nonstop can be matched to an operating carrier, flight number, date, frequency and bookable seat.
A city-pair search result can contain one or more connecting flights. The STARLUX Barcelona page explicitly routes its codeshare offer through Abu Dhabi, so the presence of a Taipei–Barcelona fare cannot support a claim that nonstop sales have opened.
